Terms & Conditions

How we work together.

Last updated: 1 April 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging AQ Line Marking for line marking services, you accept these terms and conditions. Any variations must be agreed in writing by both parties.

2. Quotations and Pricing

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless noted. Quotes are based on information provided and site conditions at inspection or briefing.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be stated on the quotation or invoice. Deposits or progress payments may be requested for larger projects, custom materials or specialised equipment.

4. Scope of Work

The scope of work, including specifications, colours, line widths and materials, will be detailed in your quotation or project brief. Scope changes may affect pricing and timing.

5. Site Access and Client Obligations

Clients must provide safe and unobstructed access to work areas at agreed times. This includes any required inductions, permits, parking, dry surfaces and site preparation.

6. Health and Safety

We work with safety in mind and may suspend work if site conditions become unsafe. Clients must notify us of hazards, permit requirements and site-specific safety procedures before work starts.

7. Weather and Delays

Line marking requires suitable weather and surface conditions. Work may be postponed due to rain, unsuitable temperatures, wind, access issues, client delays or circumstances outside our control.

8. Warranty

We warrant that services will be completed in a professional manner using appropriate materials and techniques. Warranty does not cover damage from abnormal traffic, misuse, surface deterioration, third-party work or factors outside our control.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of services provided for the specific project, except where rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

Designs, layouts and documentation remain our intellectual property until payment is received in full. We may photograph completed works for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an agreement with written notice if the other party fails to remedy a material breach within a reasonable timeframe. Clients remain liable for work completed and materials procured up to termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
